The goal I want to achieve!

So, it is time we made  attempts to change our traditional teaching styles. To me, it will be a difficult task. First of all, I have to be familiar with the tools of technology and  the techniques of using. After this five-day intensive lesson, I do know some tools but I need time to strengthen my skills of using them. Now, I know better about blog & wiki, but I am not confident enough to put into use in class at this moment. However, it will be one of my goals! I will achive it as soon as possible!

Welcome to Webquest!

Today we have come out with our group blog: http://houchaigan.blogspot.com/. Our group has carried out the task of  designing webquest that the teacher given . During the process, I find it is fun and the atmosphere is warm and happy. Our relationship is improving. I think we can have the same task as this one in our own class.  It is a good way for the students to improve their relationship. It is an activity that may let students learn to think and solve problems. The students will be more creative too.

what I do during these days !

The activities that we have to fulfil :
1. To write blog every day. ( to give reflection & opinions on the lesson of the day )
2. To make use of Wiki (http://malaysia2010.pbworks.com/) for group discussion and interaction of our action research. ( to communicate & contribute something to the group )
3. In class, we discuss constantly on the topic given by the instructor. ( to check the degree of our understanding to the topic discussed )

Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hydes (recomended )

Today we look into the problems that may arise when using networking tools.  When we were discussing their pros and cons it suddenly came into my mind that I had read a novel entitled "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" Dr.Jekyll has double personalities. It has two sides in his body: the evil and good sides. When he is doing too much evil  his side of evil is getting stronger when he controls himself and does more good and he has a better sense of judgement. The tools of internet are like Dr. Jekyll. If you have used  too much of them you will have hooked on them and they will bring a lot of harms instead of benefits. However, if you have made use of them in a wiser manner then both the teachers and students will gain benefits!

Yes, finally, we have to come to the end of the lesson again! Earlier on, I did mention what I have learned. Now, I feel more hopeful! because I have a better understanding of what our instructor 's explanation of the benefits of using Blog and Wiki. I agree with her. I have tried Blog and I would like to try Wiki!

This is my family's tree. I love my family. It is a home sweet home. It's them that provide me energy and strength! Throughout the lesson, I think this is the happiest moment I have. Of course, today we also learn something else.  Our group ( group 5 ) has come out with the topic. We did discuss how to start our focused area. Our instructor has recommended us some websites that may help us in our future.  I had tried "twitter" and "plurk". However, I had given up trying the website "delicious .com"

It is a brand new day! I feel better now. I hope to learn more but I need time to absorb and digest !
